US Congress just passed HR 1865, "FOSTA".
Although this law purports to only deal with online personals, it is vaguely worded enough that any site that accepts and displays user generated content could be considered "facilitating" prostitution under the right conditions.
FearlessBlogging isn't a site for dating or relationships, but you can pretty much type anything into the text field and have it displayed on the site somewhere. Since it's small website with no profit (and thus no lawyers), it would only take one user making one suspicious post to cause serious legal problems.
Unfortunately, the only option in the face of this threat is to shut down FearlessBlogging.
It's been a great 11 years. Have fun out there!
